First single taken from Ivana Santilli's
latest album "Corduroy Boogie" released
in August 2004 on Brown Recordings.
"Corduroy Boogie" is the follow-up to
Santilli's critically-acclaimed debut "Brown"
(1999). In addition to her signature style of
soul/groove it features production from an impressive
list of collaborators; King Britt, Kaidi
Tatham (Bugz in the Attic), Dego (4 Hero), Dwele,
Stuart Matthewman, Solitair, Agile (Brassmunk)
and James Poyser.
"Breathe
Inn" - Moonstarr remix is a stunning,
broken beat inspired 21st century soul. As the main man
behind Canadian label Public Transit Recordings (PTR),
Moonstarr has grown to become one of the world's
most acclaimed underground producers. His recent single
"Detroit" (Sonar Kollektiv) was
recently voted into the Top 5 of Gilles Peterson's
Worldwide Winner's list for 2004 (BBC Radio 1).
His recent remix work credits include Ennio Morricone
(Compost), Hans Koller (Universal-Germany), Povo
(Raw Fusion), Rednose Distrikt (Rush Hour
Recordings) among many others.
Also
featured on this release is the album version of
"Breathe Inn" produced by Dego and Kaidi
Tatham. Soulful vocals, warn Rhodes sounds and
